The death rate for anorexia nervosa is one of the highest in all psychiatric and mental disorders. Even for individuals who have benefited from treatment, relapse rate remains high. You can contribute to improving the lives of those with eating disorders like anorexia nervosa by volunteering in research studies like ours. This will help us better understand the biology underlying anorexia nervosa, thereby enabling development of better preventions and treatments.
